Burger King ~ Purple Whooper

Image
For this project, I chose to write about Burger King and their new limited-time menu, the Addams Family Favorites. As I was scrolling through Instagram, an ad popped up for a free purple whooper this Thursday, so naturally I was interested. As a broke college kid, I'm not going to turn down free food, even if it is purple. Currently, Burger King seems to be the talk of the town, and not in a good way. When I typed in a quick Google search “X posts about Burger King”, the results were full of negative comments. From “Burger King Responds to Post about ‘Unacceptable Experience’” to “Irate sheriff calls for backup after Burger King messes up his order”, things don’t seem to be going well.  Burger King’s value proposition is to provide a diverse range of food quickly and affordably. This new menu goes right alongside their food diversity options, as all four items are new for a limited time. Marketing in the News~ Ford's New Patent

For my blog post, I chose to write about Fords new marketing idea, the first of its kind in the automotive industry. As I was scrolling through Instagram, the article popped up and caught my eye, due to the cutting edge, yet strangeness of their proposition. About me

Hi everyone,  My name is Ryan Orr and I'm from Klamath Falls, Oregon. I am studying Finance and am dual enrolled through OSU. I decided to take this course because I want to learn more about marketing myself. In the business world, how you sell yourself is just as important as whatever good or service you're selling. Outside of school, I'm passionate about my animals and traveling. I currently have a dog, Winnie, and in the past, I've had chickens, ducks, turkeys, and pigs.         My favorite place that I have ever traveled to is Georgetown, Grand Cayman. I stopped there on a cruise, so I wasn't there very long, but hopefully one day I'll get to go back for longer. Really though, as long as it's warm and there's a beach nearby, I'm happy.
